Peacefully passed away at the Mildands Regional Hospital. Affectionately known as “The Gateaux Man”. Beloved husband of Mary and father of Stephen and David and the late Matthew. Deeply regretted by his loving family, brother Anthony, daughter in law Valerie, son in law Ben, grandchildren Roisin and Simon, great-grandchildren Ezra and Kai, nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.

Patrick (Paddy), retired assistant County Librarian, Laois County Library and former Captain Mountrath Golf Club. Cherished husband and best friend of Gabrielle, adored Dad to Gary and Carla, beloved grandfather to Caleb, Emma and Alex and loving father-in-law to Rob. He will be greatly missed by his heartbroken family his beloved doggies Maud and Matilda and his large circle of friends.
