Peacefully surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his loving son Ger Murphy. Beloved husband of Patsy and much loved father of Damien, Brian, Niall, Cathal, Evelyn, Sinead, Trish, Lorraine and Rachel. He will be deeply missed and forever loved by his wife, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, nieces, nephews, (Dundalk) extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
A kind gentle and devoted family man, he will be remembered for his warmth, generosity and quiet strength, his love guidance and unwavering support will remain in the hearts of all who knew him.

Reposing at Keegan’s Funeral Home on Sunday, June 28th from 4:30pm with Rosary at 5:45pm removal thereafter to SS Peter and Paul’s Church for 6:30pm funeral prayers. Requiem Mass on Monday at 11am https://www.portlaoiseparish.ie/webcam/ followed by interment in SS Peter and Paul’s cemetery.
