Evelyn Connor (nee Read), Maryborough Village and formerly of Tonlegee Road, Dublin 5.

Evelyn passed away peacefully after an illness bravely borne, surrounded by her children in the loving care of the wonderful staff in Kilminchy Lodge nursing home.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Richard (Ritchie) Connor. Beloved Mother to Lyndsey, Richard, and Stacey and cherished Na-na to Abbie, Lucy, Jessica, and Dylan. Evelyn will be sorely missed by her sons in law, Brendan and Robert, her brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, relatives, and extended family along with her cherished steadfast friends and her many wonderful neighbours.

May she rest in eternal peace.

Reposing at Keegan’s funeral home, 1 Dublin Road, (R32Y368) on Friday 29th March from 6.30 pm until 8 pm with Rosary at 7.30 pm. On Saturday, Funeral arriving to St Peter and Pauls Church for 10.30 am funeral prayers; https://www.portlaoiseparish.ie/webcam/ . lf you own something yellow, please wear it to reflect Evelyns’ favourite colour and her zest for life! Resomation after mass in Pure Reflections, Abbeylands, Navan, Co Meath (C15 X9FK) at 3 pm .

Peacefully in the loving care of the staff of Lourdesville Nursing home, Kildare. Beloved wife of Sean and dearly loved mother to Brenda and Joseph. Deeply regretted by her loving family, daughter in law Julie, nephews, nieces, relatives, good neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Keegan’s Funeral Home, Portlaoise on Tuesday from 6.30pm until 8 pm with Rosary at 7.30 pm. Removal on Wednesday to arrive at SS Peter and Paul’s Church for 12 noon Requiem Mass. Cremation will follow.

Philip (Phil) Lewis, The Heath and formerly of Main St., Portlaoise.

Phil passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family. Dearly beloved husband to Peggy and loving father to Anne, Philip, Michael, Séan, Padraig, Irene, and Bernard. Phil was a cherished grandfather to his eighteen grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren, bringing immense joy to his family. He will be deeply missed by his brothers Bernard, Wally, and Joe, as well as his sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, and all his former customers and friends. Phil was predeceased by his parents John and Elizabeth and siblings Tommy, Michael, Jimmy, Paddy, John, Margaret. Also predeceased by his son-in-law Anthony Walsh.

Reposing at his family home (R32 XR53) on Wednesday, 27th of March, from 3pm with Rosary at 8pm. Funeral arriving for Funeral Service at 11.00am on Thursday at The Church of the Assumption, The Heath; https://www.portlaoiseparish.ie/the-heath-webcam/. Interment will follow in the Heath Cemetery.
