Sheila Fitzpatrick, Beechlawn, Mountmellick road and formerly McDonagh Terrace, Curragh Camp. Died 9th January 2026 .

Peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of Tony and loving mother to Ian, George, Darren and Hazel. Cherished grand mother to Jason, David, Tyler, AJ, Lucas, Roisin, Sarah, Brody and Oliva. Predeceased by her son in law Stephen, and sister Pauline. Deeply regretted by her loving family; daughters-in-law, Sue and Orla, brother Leonard and sisters Ann and Bernie, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

May she Rest in Peace.

Reposing at Keegans funeral home on Tuesday December 13th from 6.30 until 8 pm with rosary at 7.30 pm. Removal on Wednesday to SS Peter and Pauls Church to arrive for 11 am Requiem Mass; https://www.portlaoiseparish.ie/webcam/. Cremation will follow at 2.30 pm at Dardistown Crematorium.

Family flowers only , donations if desired to the Irish Cancer Society or the Irish Kidney Association.

Unexpectedly at Midlands Regional Hospital Portlaoise. Predeceased by his sister Leona, grandmothers Phyllis Fitzpatrick and Peig Cuddy. Gary is sadly mourned by his heartbroken parents Martin and Theresa, brother Shane, nephews Rhys and Luke, grandfather Mick Fitzpatrick, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
