Suddenly after a brief illness surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her parents Michael and Annie Doherty and sister Annette. Dearly beloved and devoted wife of Ian and cherished mother to daughter Kelly. She will be wholeheartedly and dearly missed by her sister Sylvia, brother-in-law Joe, her dearly loved nieces and nephews Faye, Emily, Sharon, Rebecca, Georgina, Sophie, Marilyn, Sean, Jason, Carl and Eddie. Brothers Eddie, Pat and Michael, extended family and her close friends, Karen and Annette.

Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on the 15th April 2026 in the care of the dedicated staff of Midlands Regional Hospital. Dearly loved wife to John and loving mother to Richenda and Darren, mother-in-law to Marian. Predeceased by her parents Brigid and Richard O’Donoghue and her brothers Eddie, Larry and Richard, sister Breda. Deeply regretted by her loving family, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours, friends and former colleagues in Eircom.

Elsie passed away peacefully at her residence in her 97th year surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Paddy.
