Peacefully at home. Predeceased by her beloved husband Michael and daughter Pauline. Deeply regretted by her loving children Kieran, Michelle, Mary and Michael, cherished grandmother to her 15 grandchildren and her 3 great grandchildren, sister Philomena, brother Fr Dan, sons-in-law John and Eamon, daughters-in-law Catriona and Tracy, sister-in-law Maria, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Keegan’s funeral home on Sunday, June 28th from 7:30pm until 9pm with Rosary at 8:30pm. Removal on Monday to SS Peter and Paul’s Church for 2pm Requiem Mass https://www.portlaoiseparish.ie/webcam/.  Interment in SS Peter and Paul’s cemetery.

Gerry Murphy St Brigids Place and formerly Dundalk Co.Louth. Died June 26th 2026

Peacefully surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his loving son Ger Murphy. Beloved husband of Patsy and much loved father of Damien, Brian, Niall, Cathal, Evelyn, Sinead, Trish, Lorraine and Rachel. He will be deeply missed and forever loved by his wife, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, nieces, nephews, (Dundalk) extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
A kind gentle and devoted family man, he will be remembered for his warmth, generosity and quiet strength, his love guidance and unwavering support will remain in the hearts of all who knew him.

Maria Colbert, (née Tuohy), Dun Masc & late of St. Brigid’s, R32 VF7A

Maria passed away peacefully on the 9th of June surrounded by her heartbroken family. Pre-deceased by her husband Joseph, parents Thomas & Elizabeth Tuohy, her brothers Tommy, Joe, Noel and Bill and her sisters Anna and Betty. Sadly missed by her sons David, Niall, Paul, Brian and Stephen, daughters Mary, Celine and Duchesne, Sons in law Jerry and Sean, Daughters in law Theresa, Rachel, Eve and Paul’s partner Sharon, her beloved grandchildren Sean, Vanessa, Tanya, David, Dylan, Cian, Shannon, Aaron, Aisling, Sarah, Shane, Vivien, Heather, Alisha and Cillian, her great grandchildren Conor, Anna, Holly, Cassie, Luan, Culann and Evie, her brother Paul and sister Cecilia along with a wide circle of great friends.

Maria will be reposing at her daughter Celine’s residence (41 Dun Masc) on Wednesday, June 10th from 4pm – 8pm with rosary at 8pm. Removal on Thursday at 10:30am to arrive at the St Peter and Paul’s Church for 11am Requiem Mass. Passed away peacefully on Friday 29th May 2026 in Kilminchy Lodge Nursing Home surrounded by her family. Deeply missed by her husband Paddy, her sons Tony, Billy, & Patrick, her daughters Theresa & Sheila, as well as her family, friends, neighbours & the staff & residents at Kilminchy Lodge Nursing Home. Predeceased by her sister Patricia Cooper & very missed by her brothers Jack & Sonny, her sisters Nuala, Celine & Olivia.

Reposing at her childhood home in Clonreher R32 AY9A from 6pm Monday 1st June concluding with the Rosary at 8.30pm. Removal from Clonreher at 10.15am Tuesday 2nd June for a service in Newlands Cross at 11.30am , Family flowers only .
