Kathleen (Kay) Dunne (née Delaney), Dysart, Stradbally and formerly of Feereigh, Rathdowney.

Died peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family, on Friday, 8th May 2026.

Beloved mother of Gráinne and Eimear, and cherished grandmother of Grace, Billy, Kate and Robert. Kay will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her daughters, grandchildren, sons-in-law Iain and Aidan, sisters Mary Pessers and Sheila Croke, brother Billy, recently deceased brother Paddy, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at the family home (R32P6RO) Sunday, May 10th from 4.00pm to 7.30pm, with Rosary at 7.00pm. Removal on Monday  to the Church of the Holy Cross, Ratheniska, arriving for 11.00am Requiem Mass; https://www.portlaoiseparish.ie/ratheniska-webcam/
Private cremation to follow on Tuesday.

Eamon Phelan, Ardilaun Abbeyleix Road.

Eamon passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. Forever loved and dearly missed by his beloved wife Anne, his cherished children Joan, Hilary and Don, and his adored grandchildren Lucy, Alan, Emma, Feena and Kirk.

Predeceased by his brothers Tom and Bill and his sister Anne. Lovingly remembered by his brothers Don, Pat and Oliver, his sons-in-law Paul and James, Don’s partner Gemma, his sisters-in-law Kit, Nuala, Marie, Mary, Eva and Kathleen, his brothers-in-law Vinny and Ted, and all his nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing in Keegan’s Funeral Home (R32W1OE) on Sunday May 3rd from 4pm until 6pm with Rosary at 5pm. Removal on Monday to arrive at SS Peter and Paul’s church Portlaoise for 11am Requiem Mass; https://www.portlaoiseparish.ie/webcam/. Interment will follow in SS Peter and Paul’s Cemetery.
